There is a muscle called Piriformis through which the sciatic nerve passes and at some places the sciatic nerve moves by the side of this muscle. The pelvis balancing is a well established treatment in giving relief to the sciatica patients, because it is location necessitates that every thing maintain their balance so that there is easiness felt in all the activities done by the body. In case the pelvis itself is unbalanced every thing up and below are not balanced.
The balancing act of the pelvis can be done by lying face up on the floor. Now just keep both the hands one under left side of pelvis and the other under the right side of the pelvis, where the belt is tied.
While remaining in this position it is observed that there is less pressure on one hand than the pressure on the second hand this indicates that the pelvis is unbalanced.
Remain Moving:
There is necessity to keep moving at short intervals, because while sitting for long hours the muscles get tightened very fast. By keeping sitting for long stretch of period there is high degree of pain in the morning after the all night sleep.
By increasing moving for small intervals during the day instead of all day sitting there is considerable relief felt by the sciatic patient.
